Stationed in Worms, Germany for 4 years. Had the very good fortune of being assigned to a unit that sent me TDY all over Europe the entire time I was there (thank you Uncle Sam & my fellow taxpayers for paying for my 4 year vacation!!!!!). Met my ex-wife (another Army soldier) and our daughter Sarah was born in Heidelberg in '94.
Moved to Ft Huachuca, AZ. Got a divorce. Decided to get out of the Army after 2 re-enlistments and 8 years of service.
Moved to Atlanta to go to college. Graduated from DeVry University (Alpharetta campus) after only 3 years with a BS in Telecommunications Management. Got myself a kick-ass job after college, then ended up getting laid off. Lost my motivation with that line of work, and I had enough of the ATL, so I left to go back where the lifestyle is much more laid back.
Returned to the Emerald Coast of Florida back to my hometown of Ft Walton Beach. Worked for several companies until I got what I wanted out of them and was tired of the same-old same-old everyday blah. Now I own an A/V company with my brother Colby (c/o '93). We specialize in Custom Home Theatres, computer networking, & support. Love what I do now.
I live by the water, so I play by the water too. I am an avid skim-boarder. I kill time fishing out by the Gulf...saltwater fish taste much better than lake or river fish. We love to just hang out on the beach when there is nothing better to do...rain, shine, hurricanes, hot, cold, day, or night...you'll probably find us there!
Also, my daughter and I love to golf. We don't claim to be Tiger Woods, but we can hold our own against most anyone.

Yes I do remember you and Mr. Marsh--I haveta say~ I was not happy I took that semester when I first came stateside, as it kept me 1/2 credit short to go to USC....I had to go to the Tech. School first and get another science credit......later on though, it became apparent why fate had me take that class- I've used the info on more than one house light repair and have (ahem) saved my poor electronically deficient hubby more than once!

Your name rings a bell, but I can't put a face to it. Sorry. After reading your synopsis, it sounds like you have been all over the place and ended up in paradise. Not bad! Like they say, do what you like and like what you do, and it looks like you figured that out years ago. My mom and dad live in Florida, too, and Dad likes the deep sea fishing as well. Any kind of fishing! The only things about Florida that drive me nuts are the heat and the bugs. The noseeums are murder! Hope you had a great Christmas and all the best for 2009. I will tell Lisa you say hi.
