About you: where you currently live, what has life been like since your days at UHHS/CHS?, what kind of job do you have?

Currently live in Ann Arbor. After graduating HS I went to Univ. of Pittsburgh for my undergrad in Piano Performance. Moved to Arizona and did my Masters at ASU. Left there and worked for Club Med for a couple years in Florida and the Bahamas and then moved to San Diego for a short while. Went back to AZ for more school (tried to get into Med School). In the midst of the schooling, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I'm not disabled, just crappy meds I have to take. After several years there, I made my way down to Baton Rouge for a few years (because of a man, god help me) and then after that relationship ended, moved over to Atlanta for a few years. When plans on moving to New Zealand didn't go through, I flew out to AZ for a weekend and ended up meeting my husband at the airport. Crazy. So now I live in MI because he didn't want to move to Atlanta. Counting my days here because this cold, dreary weather is not for me. Itching to move back down South. I have two beautiful boys (almost 3 yrs. old and 17 mos.) and 3 dogs (Gold. Retriever, and 2 Choc. Labs - my kids before the human kind came along). I work as a HR Manager currently, but my background is in immigration law. All is good and can't wait to catch up with so many people after all these years!! Going on 21 years!!!! AAGH! Hard to believe!
That's my life after graduating!

I am going to be at the resort. I can't wait. I will be sharing a room with Becky Bonsi and our hubby's. You and Suzie need to share a room it will be cheaper. There are alot of hotels around the resort if you don't want to stay there. Can't wait to see you. I think think Dawn and David Vittoe will be there too. I will be living in Grand Island nY. I'm assuming that's what you did with Club Med? I can't say that I've really done much with my music. I was really into theatre before kids came along. That seems like another life time ago. Your boys look close in age so I bet you stay busy! I see a lot of you in them. I have two girls who are 5 and 2. My older one had a lot of hemangiomas, one of which is on her face. My favorite comment from a stranger was "oh, who hit you, baby?" Instead of explaining what it was I should have said "yeah, I was having a bad morning". It's a lot less noticeable now so I don't have people commenting on it every time we're out in public. Sorry it took so long to reply -- the girls have been sick.

At 6:09pm on May 29, 2008, Janet Green (Kotzur) said…: well Stacy mom is progressive aggressive she is fully quadriplegic and isn't taking meds other than ibuprofen for pain (nerve endings are dying) and a muscle relaxant starts with a B she has had MS for nealry 35 yrs and because so little was known and they have only really begun having successes in the last 15 yrs she is too badly damaged to have any real hope of getting better. She has no myelin to speak of. Her MS has always been the type that gets worse with every episode. Worse case scenario. but we all believe that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. her heart is healthy ans she has no other medical problems so as you know MS isn't terminal so she can live longer than all of us.. She is amazing
