- Hi all,
After HS my family moved back to Manassas, VA where I tried to make a go of it, but after 5-years I decided to join the USAF. My first duty station was Rhein Main, AB in Germany (1987-1989), and then my next base was Pope AFB, NC (1989-1997). That is where I met my lovely wife Stacey, after I returned from Desert Shield/Storm for 8-months.
We are now married for sixteen years (1992), and we have two beautiful little girls (Katherine (2002) & Emma (2005)). I recieved my Undergraduate degree (Design/Drafting 1999) & my Graduate degree (Occupational Safety 2007) both from East Carolina University. We now live in incredibly beautiful Asheville in Western, NC, and we have no plans on moving. I'm a Risk Management Consultant, and my responsibilities include visiting General Contractors/Subcontractors ensuring that they are in compliance with NC-OSHA & my companies safety guidelines. My area of responsibility covers 11-counties so I get to drive all through the Great Smokey Mountains, it's really awesome.
My Sister Ann (1985) is living in California with my brother-in-law (Danny), and my three nephews. Auntie Ann is my girls favorite Aunt, and they are waiting for her to return to the East Coast.

The work I do is litigation, defending (mostly) insurance companies. It's risk management, becuase we consult in that area. We mosly defend them in claims from auto accidents and other insurance related litigation, but the firm I work for does a great deal more than that. Yep I watched the ECU game (Liberty Bowl) in hopes of seeing you in the crowd. I was rooting for your team, but as I recall it didn't pan out for the best. I've been max'd out with watching all the bowl games so my memory might be wrong...I hope you had a great time in Memphis anyway. Happy New Year to you and your entire family! Cheers, Ron
