Jody was one of those whose smile entered the room before she did. You could hear her chattering a mile a minute with some strange but true incident that had happened just a few minutes before. Even if you were not particularly close to her, she made you feel as if you were. She will definitely be missed.

I agree, unbelievable. I remember Jody very well ... she was always laughing and joking. Her sense of humor and fun spirit was contagious. The smile above is exactly how I remember her. She will be missed.

Jody was such a wonderful friend, I will miss her, that wonderful spirit and smile. My prayers go out to Jody's family and friends. Such a sad day, she will be missed.

Unbelievable. I agree with Brett, this is a sad day. From what I can tell, Jody embraced life to the fullest. That's something we can all learn from her. I am going to do my best to honor her memory by not mourning the loss, but celebrating the life. That's what she would have wanted. My prayers go out to all who loved her. She will be greatly missed.

Hey Carrie,

I dont even know what to say. Life can be so short. She only had 40 summers of her life. I will definately be at the Myrtle Beach reunion. Maybe we can plan something for Jody. A dedication in her memory.

This is a sad day. I went to Senior Prom with Jody. Does anyone know how to get in touch with her brother Jeff?
